The "14 juillet" in France is almost the same as the 4th of juilly in the USA. It's a national celebration of the fall in 1789 of the Bastille which was a big parisian prison. It symbolises the end of the monarchy and the beginning of the democracy. Each year, there is a huge military procession on the "champs

Nicely seen photograph I also like the crop and composition, the crowd reflection in the horn pulls us back into the scene. This event sounds a great opportunity for taking pictures :0 )
