Awesome image, excellent job with the texturing and modeling of the ships. I don't usually pay much attention to it in space scenes, but since it was brought up, I noticed the cool lighting as well.

I dob't remember seeimg the USAF symbol on any of the starfuries, Aurora or thunderbolt, Earthforce is a international military. The Earth allince symbol should be in its place instead. Also the symbol below the President seal shouldn't be there for the same reason.
