Suddenly the two crimson clad guards advanced together and engaged the two rogues. Nightsong drew the attention of the duel-wielding one by drawing both of her blades, though her small weapons dwarfed in comparison to the large bony ones. The air reverberated as the other guard cut a huge arc with the massive battle axe. Her face showed she fully intended to make halfling a fitting term for the small quick footed thief. Sharra just managed to dodge out of the way as the heavy weight of the weapon slammed into the flooring. Ringing steel echoed through the hall. Sharra prepared herself for another assault while clutching ever tighter to her newly acquired treasure not letting it fall from her grasp. The large muscled woman quickly recovered from her missed swing raising the axe above her head for another powerful blow. Another swing of the mighty axe sliced through the air toward Sharra. Sharras quick movements again allowed her to dodge the sharp steel blade, but the well trained guard had anticipated or even manipulated her swing for just such a dodge. As the axe again struck the floor she quickly shifted her weight using the axe as a lever to slam into the small framed halfling knocking her to the floor.
