Wonderful mood in this picture. There's almost "nothing in it"... a big hole in the middle of the picture. Yes, it's really talking about melancholy. I love it! :) V

Sadness? For me it is just an extremely deep calmness that can look like sadness... from outside. I`m not quite sure about the composition, but the mood and the colour are really impressive!

The atmosphere here is fascinating me, you did a great great shot here. Yes, there is some sadness involved but "after the rain comes the sun" Cycles of time and moods, I had the same mood one week ago, tired of this endless grey weather. Whatever, a wonderful shot,thanks. V.

A very moving image!!! Interesting you chose teal...an excellent choice it works great! I once did a workshop on color at the mental health center i used to work at. Anyway, colors are very revealing. Teal and purple are both colors of spirituality. So although there is much sadness here, perhaps your spirituality is your strength? Maybe the teal represents that? Maybe this all sounds crazy, but i like to say what i feel when i look at art...how it touches me and what comes across. anyway, i think you are a very strong person with a strong faith. Your spirit may be wounded but you will heal and grow. I love this image more than you can possibly be know. i used to be standing in your shoes and saying the same thing. Take care! vote!
