Description

One of the few restored B-25s that are still flying (which from what I understand, can be counted on one hand.) About 2 dozen are in museums (restored but not flying), and the rest that could be accounted for have been scrapped. It stopped by my hometown airport, so I had to get a few pics.

I like the look of complexity of these old recip bombers. North American Aviation can be proud of that ship. In it's factory colors with buffed raw aluminum it takes a place in history. This photo is worthy of what it depicts.

Nice shot! This vintage airplane stopped by my town as well, (you can see some images of it in my gallery). This is the same type of airplane they dug out of the antartic ice. Sadly, the one they dug up was in too bad of shape to rebuild. Thanks for sharing!

Fantastic modelling and great work on the HDRI/radiosity ;) Seriously though, its a shame there aren't more examples of some of the great flying machines used by both sides left anymore. Good photo.
