Description

Thanks for viewing ! Comments are welcome... This the last in the Andrena flavipes series. Again i've made a triple of my last three shots so i can continue with my other shots. - The top and middle shot have a bit of motion blurr, but thats because there are kinda 'busy' ;o) - The top shot: well, it seems obvious what they are doing hehe The middle shot: this bee returned to its burrow and found it flattened. It kept searching for the entrance, he looked kinda agitated actually... Whenever i came to close for his taste he tried the scare me away by fake-attacking me, flying around my head and stuff :o) After a while i began to feel sorry for him so i picked up a little twig and started digging myself. But he wasnt amused and suddenly the attacks didnt seem so 'fake' anymore, so i gave it up. LOL The bottom shot: This one is kinda obvious too the bee is peering out of its burrow, to see wether the coast is clear i guess... - In the middle shot you can see clearly how much pollen the bees take into their burrow. They stack a chamber with the pollen for their larvae to feed on. Thanks for all your wonderful comments on my last upload: "Andrena flavipes" !! Many thanks, Enmos
