Description

~~ I would love to dedicate this image to my dear friend Mich..A who is a great Photographer, 2D artist and a philosopher (heehehe....... well, you can think deep Mich....;0)) cause I know from her tastes that she gona love this image. :O)) This image speaks more than just Rock. A closer look reveals that without human interference life has it's own way of surviving and finding out ways to live and multiply. Whatever the terrain, climate and whatever the odds, life goes on endlessly. This gives rise to the quest in mind, if life can be so abandon on this planet.....why not others?? The land, mountains, river, sea bed and even the extreme deep sea Volcanic mountains, the Deserts, the Icy Poles...... they all have life in some form. Life has adjusted itself to the given circumstances in some form or the other, most suitable to itself, within the given surrounding. All life forms are not alike but one thing they have in common is "Life". The ability to live, grow and multiply. If we only total the species of insects that have so far been discovered, it runs into millions with many more yet to be discovered yet. Such abundant is life in it's various form that it is hard to believe that there can not be "Life" outside of this Planet Rock called "Earth". Life forms could either be unintelligent like the flora and fauna or the many species of Animals that abound this Earth. What is the possibility of Life outside of this Planet and how many of you believe there must be Living things outside this Planet?? :O)) Thanks for your commments and critics. SNAKEY

Millions and billions of gallexies.... are we so foolish to think that we are the only ones? Our little planet, our little solar system is just a tiny little drop in the bucket, much like this little stone wall....
And I do believe I love this image! Yes, in this microcosm of a stone wall, you've found life, much of it invisible to the naked eye.... I wonder how many little critters were hidden in the cracks and crevices watching you photograph their homes? How many pin sized creatures, moving along that we can't see? It's a beautiful image! And thank you for thinking of me when you posted it!

I've ever been fascinate by lichens, so simple life forms... but they have survive when dinosaurs died in mass. I think sometime at your purpose. Raj, I'm sure life exist everywhere when it is possible and not only on earth like planets. Life is the fifth element: the four, matter - water - gaz and plasma that receive the life breath. this process is as "natural" as a star, a galaxy or even a galaxy cluster in the cosmic process. Great though and such beautiful and simple photo my friend. V
