BIOI was born in Russia and lived in S. Petersburg for 60 years. Most of my career spent teaching at the Marine Engineering University. Since 2000 have been living in Regensburg (Germany) with my wife and daughter. I began taking pictures in 2003 and almost all my photos have been taken around Regensburg. Music and long walks in nature are my pet likes.
Have joined Rendero in 2003 and have met a lot of wonderful people here. Allways enjoy the beautiful works by so many excellent artists and have got lots of inspiration by theirs works.

Yes! Very redundant! Electronics rule (sad)! Excellent work my Friend! Cheers! Alan

The grayscale background is an excellent touch to highlight the rusted machinery. Why is old machinery always so compelling? Perhaps, because there is some comfort in the fact that it broke before we did.

Quote Kenwas: Why is old machinery always so compelling? So guys like Valentin have a object to shoot...lol. It is very sad that old farm machinery is in total abandonment and let to rust...stuuning shot to highlight the machinery :)

I love the way you emphasized the rust here. It has a dignified beauty in its sad dismissal. Great photo.
