The Break-Up by DeviousMoose

This was a project I came across that I did for my class in Illustrator.
(By the way- Yes, I use a PC!)
};-)
First of all- I would like to display a quote by RYNO-a FORMER Renerosity artist- that I find very very true. he hit it right on the head with this!
"If you want viewings, post pin ups.
If you want comments, post pets, people, or flowers.
If you want to really explore what is possible as an artistic expression - persist."
How true this is.... It's kind of sad when you look to see what kind of images are being looked at on this site. Not only is the above comment so true, but also it seems to be quite "cliquish." In other words- people will list favorite artists based on the comments that are made on their images- and vice versa.
Also, it seems that most people on here DO NOT have a clue how to critique an image. Why is it that people will say things like "cute cat" or "wow- such a pretty girl," or just comment on the SUBJECT rather than what the photograph is and/or what it conveys? Along with that, some people on here seem to resent even getting a true critique telling them how to improve the image. I often get "nastygrams" sent to me in my messages because I went against the grain of people just saying how pretty the subject is, or how great the POV is, or just what a cool pic it is. I like to tell what I see in it and how to maybe improve it if needed.
Personally, I much prefer people telling me about my image itself. I dont care if someone has the same kind of car that I took a photo of- or the person, place, or object in my image is nice looking. PLEASE tell me about the image.
I apologize for my cynicsm... but this is just one of the sites I post my work on and it by far- has the longest way to go when it comes to people knowing how to actually comment on artwork.

Many people I've met who slam macs have never used one and aren't willing to try. I've worked in art my entire adult life, started with macs in 1986, I've been in many agencies and art houses since then, and all of them without exception use macs. And, I've never had a problem with women about using macs. Never had a problem with viruses, either. Or trojans. Or worms. Or bugs. Or having things work the minute I load them or plug 'em in. Or configuring a network. Course, you only have to plug 'em in.

LIGHTEN UP!
Hey- I have used macs and have absolutely nothing against them.
As I said- this was a fun dig against my graphics class because I was the only one in that class that uses a PC.
Why do I use a PC? Simple- because you may be able to do graphics real well on a mac, but when it comes to doing graphics AND doing programming as well as many other applications- I need the PC. It all depends on the applications you are using it for.
As for the reason that Viruses, Trojans. Worms, etc.. dont affect MAC OS is because they (the morons that develop & start spreading these) know the vast majority of computers out there are PC based (90% roughly)and they won't waste their time with a small minority.
Besides- didn't you see the category this was under? --- HUMOR
How many of you can look at a piece of artwork on here & be able to tell if it was done on a PC or a mac? It's not the computer that generates the art- It's the artist & their imagination behind it.

Poor Mac Rodgers, he is such a tool and people use him all the time. I use a Pc and a Mac and they both suck. They have been around for years and they still have stupid things that we have to put up with. Networking between Pcs and macs not exactly plug and play either. Funny picture.
