Thanks for viewing !
Comments are welcome...
I was taking some shots of the miner bees
and the Bee-wolfs and at some point i had
to relief the bladder :o) When i was at it
i heard some weird scratching noises.
Turns out to be this wasp, scraping the
surface off the reed !! You can see the
little ball of scrapings between its front
legs, these scrapings will be mushed to a
pulp and then used to build the papery
waspsnest.
Hope you like :o)
Thanks for all your wonderful comments on
my last upload, "Bee-Wolf is Back" !!
Many thanks,
Enmos

Wow, there's so much to see here! The small connection between the elements of its body is very noticeable! And know is clear that wasps can break in houses by scraping their through the wood! Impressive shot, excellent work!

images of the real world, I mean that more I look to social insects as bees, wasps and ants, I think that people who are scare of insects (judeo christianism sequels = insects mostly considering as devil creatures) don't even know as they are just as us, working hard to survive with a deep social background : working for the evolution of the community. We (human) are more than ever in an egoistic trip that social insects appears (more than ever) like perfection. V

LOL @ funkfrog (what about her hairy back?) Look at that! Reminds me of 'Eric the half a bee' (a pet on Monty Python). This is a valuable scientifc shot / find showing the workplace actions of this guy.
