Description

Just dug out this image that I did a couple of weeks back just before I left for Vietnam. Was trying to get a bit nightfall lighting right. Not quite there yet. Hope you all like this, criticisms appreciated.

I like it a lot; BUUUT, she does look a bit above the floor, maybes it's my tired old eyes :) Happy days and long life.

I love the background and her, but I agree with thefixer that she seems to be hovering. Bring her down and perhaps add some tall grasses or rocks in the foreground, but not so as to cover her image but to make her seem between the background and the foreground for depth.

You already know about positioning the figure on the ground. Might I suggest that you also put some subdued red lighting in? Maybe give it more of that sunset feel. Lovely character BTW! :-)
