Description
When this car was originaly released the American consumer of the day considered this car ugly. This model was later cancelled. I personally see nothing unattractive with this car....in fact I think it's quite beautiful...
Car in the photo is a 1959 Edsel Ranger by Ford Motor Company...

The Edsel may be Fords greatest failure (some say because of the shape of the grill) but today he is a classic.

By the roofline I see it is one of the Citation/Corsair modles based on the Mercury and not one of the Ranger/Pacer models based on the Ford. It may even have one of the Lincoln based 410 cubic inch engines. I like how your photos show that the more excessively bedecked, the more garish the choice the more mundane the service the more likely to survive and be collected. Somewhere there is also the collection of race winners. The rest have vanished. Except for at Greenfield Village.
