Description

Chugrok, the Ogre shaman opens the Hekshire Gate Portal, to allow his brothers to cross over and invade the peaceful lands of the Elves. The Ogre texture is by Sturkwurk, and is awesome (although you can not see it very well in this image. Check out his textures for the ogre up on Daz3d). The Ogre was posed in Poser 4 and imported into vue 4, which is where the rest of this image was created and rendered ( using default vue items). I added a blur in post-production, please let me know if the blurring works or not, as well as any other comments or hints to improve the image. Thank you for looking, Eryk

I like the blur, but my attention is really drawn toward the center I love that part. I like the (panther?) in the background to the right too against the fog.

This came out great! Love the lens flare and the background lighting. The panther in the fog is very cool.

Composition & scene are great... just think there is too much blur (at least on the foreground.) Nice job!

Very nice image Cal ...it is unfortunate that the Ogre texture is not visible on this render...perhaps an Ogre/Elven War is in order for a future render? :)

The eyebrows are funny..actually Sturk. I could not, for the life of me, get them not to render. Pulling the figure into VUE seems to have caused the eyebrows to appear. I can not select them as an individual body part and set them back to transparent. If anyone knows how to do that, please let me know. Thanks for all the kind comments, everyone. :)
