BIOWell, I haven't updated this in some 3 years, and it would seem I have improved in that time, making some of my text here a little out of context. I started with bryce a little over six years ago, but didn't really get going until 3 years thereafter. Since then I've discovered wings, and been tooling around with it for around half a year. I've just begun my senior year in highschool, and am enjoying drama and light crewing greatly. Other than that? Not much to say. My screen name is inspired by the character of the same name in Terry Pratchet's Discworld series.

this is cool! excellent even! I love to play with trees and lights. Whether it's good or not on a specific setup I leave to your experiments, but sometimes I temporarily turn off the sun, and set all the material 'Ambience' to zero (in a tree that's the trunk and the leaf textures), and then go from there. I extremely like the green tone so maybe try to keep most of that. Hope that helps float your boat.

Nice work! This is the best "Bryce bush" I have ever seen! Real nice!

One thing I've played around a bit with for close up bryce plants was making the leaves a little transparent (only a few percent). This makes them look (in my opinion) a little more leaf like and a little less solid. But be warned, your rendertime will go up in a hurry if you do that. But still, what you've got is a good start - keep up the experimenting :)
