Description

today i learnt how to use the Magic Bevel tool in Lightwave, and also how to use the sun-positioning dials in Lightwave. using the Magic Bevel tool i made some funky tree look-alikes and with the sun-positioning dials i made a sunset. then, as most of my pictures do, it started demanding a story to go with it, so i gave it one --------------------------- The Last Sunset Alone I stand and watch Our last sunset Shadows stretch across Dead and dried fields Nature that once flourished Bent and gnarled Withers away A cold wind peels my skin Pierces my body Enveloping my heart It erases all memories All emotional recollections I turn around and walk Away from our last sunset Through the barren lands I walk undisturbed Your fading voice calls Softly and then screaming But I continue walking This was the last one This was the last sunset --------------------------- me likes how it turned out though i could have spent more time on the ground to make it look better. also wanted misty stuff but i don't know how to do that properly yet, so....

Surreal and magical Rays and well emphasised in your chilling poem. I can feel an animation coming on for you with this piece. Like a fly thru with a solo violin playing, and your voice speaking the words of the poem. And in the end the violin screeches. I better shut up eh. Well done bud.

I agree with you about the ground, but even still, this is awesome! I agree with Anniemation...beautiful and spooky. The way you framed the sun in the heart shape is great. And the poem that goes with it is very fitting.
