Description
No postwork.
I don't remember what I tested or experimented with. I tryed to render this pict since saturday last week, short after I received Lyne's ducks. Networkrender chrashed as soon as I start it. A render in ultra on a single machine counts in weeks, a render in superior started on sunday and chrashed with 86% on wednesday. At least this one finished, rendered in broadcast 37 h(?).
Thanks for your comments and looking.

The composition looks wonderful here. I love the reflections and the water ripples. The ducks and reeds look fantastic too.

Excellent attention to detail. Well placed vegetation and lots of variety which creates and enjoyable situation for the ducks to steal the show. Excellent. Sorry about your render hassles. I am sure we all"know" how that feels! Vote!

Outstanding work! I don't think it suffered much from the lower quality render. Very tranquil & peaceful scene! Vote

That's very odd about it taking so long, offhand (without seeing the actual scene) I can't see anything that would warrant 37 hours on Broadcast. Well worth the effort though, superb Vegetation and placement and excellent composition and colors, Excellent Work!

Never voted for anything on Renderosity until now. First impression of this scene is absolutely heartwarming; the atmosphere is fetchingly nostalgic. Close inspection reveals hardly a flaw anywhere in the details. The title is a stroke of genius. Superlative, exquisite! Render it to your satisfaction, make prints and sell them through a gallery somewhere. You'll make a fortune.

Wonderful work. Also, I agree with "nanotyrannus" about the render time - it's a little strange. Excellent picture, though.

Very impressive nature work!!!
spider1313
Excellent composition and attention to detail! I, too, don't see what would cause such a lengthy render, but my hat's off to you for sticking with it!

WOW!! Fantastic scene! Very beautiful and realistic .. excellent vegetation. Love the ducks and the apple tree :) Wonderful work!

When using Xfrogplants and a couple of lights, perhaps a volumetric atmosphere, one better get used to looong rendertimes :) Although all this crashing seems a little weird? still.. it ended up with a great render!

I see a willow there...that'll up your rendertime tremendously...I'm willing to bet that's the culprit! I feel your pain with crashes etc, but it was worth it, lovely pic! (Ducks seem a bit large to me, but maybe that's just pov...) Very well done!

I like it, a nice scene!
