Description

Initially unaware of the menace and destruction taking place high above their heads, the traders and cargo transporters of Coruscant continue about their business whilst Tie Interceptors drop from the sky around the 18000ft high altitude docking towers, dwarfing their tallest cousins surrounding the dockyard and cargo storage complexes. Mercilessly and methodically the mysterious attackers disable any possibilty of vehicles capable of light speed leaving the planet... By Kromekat

Thanks again to SWMA and theforce.net for their great Tie models! - The city is made from LOTS of terrain and lattice objects and a few primitives of course :)

Brilliant! The dockyards look amazing! And the high altitude tower really gives the sense of depth (and therefore, height). Lovely spiralling composition too! 10++++ for sure!

This is really cool...but can i ask for some ground shots please....I really have a problem with heights and travel sickness....especially after looking at these scenes. They are TOOOOO realistic!!!! ;]

This one is great, but I have a few minor comments. The tower that is under attack: the bolts being fired by the only TIE firing.. they wouldn't hit the tower, at least where the explosions are. It's almost like the High Altitude dock gave up and self detonated before being hit. I know it was probably hit before this 'frame' but that was the first thought that went through my mind. As for the actual construction of the scene (minus that one thing that hit me)... I like it a lot. I can imagine that traffic breaking up in fear and causing even more damage than the fighters here very shortly. :) Great job Krome.

Wow, great city. However, I too have a minor quibble: the Star Wars universe usually uses the metric system, so you might want to say the tower is 5500 meters instead.

Great Job! The only thing that I can think of that would improve this piece is a fairly simple question that comes to mind. Why aren't any of the other TIE Interceptors firing?

Shadow... I dont think that would improve this image, it would clutter it up, and besides, why should more than one of them be firing in this split second anyway? ;)
