Very nice macro shot, captures well the contrasting textures and colors! The shadow isn't all that distracting (Ive had that happen too!). One suggestion though, you might consider putting your logo down in the shadow area where it will brighten the area, stand out better, distract from the shadow and be less distracting to the image proper.
