Description
This thought came to me a few weeks back when I was trying to salvage cherries from the tree in my back yard. As I sat there taking a rest I had the image of the birds helping themselves to the ones i had already gathered. Birds have no sense of what is mine is mine and they will not co-operte and pick from the top, where I can't reach or help themselves to the ones they have dropped on the ground. I really did try the scare crow. Tehy didn't buy it ;{
Thanks to Davy for letting me try out this cherry tree

Sorry to hear of your plight, Susan, but at least this very funny and well-done piece resulted from it! Agree with those above on her expression and the bird sitting on the scarecrow's head almost seems to be mocking 'you'?!?

I think I should be clear here. In real life I would NEVER sit in my back yard with midriff all exposed! ;}However, the only clothing I coulod get to work. Thanks so much, for comments! Makes losing to the birds so much easier ;}

I remember back to you telling me about the fun you were having with birds Susan, so I had quite a chuckle when I first saw this....could sure be you sitting there with that indignant expression! What a marvellous scene! Pure delight (not just for the birds!) Wonderful detail and the atmosphere is excellent! Bravo Sherlock!!! Remember, cherries make them sing sweeter...hahaha.
