Description
This is by far, the most massive fly I have ever seen. I wish I had time to plop a coin down beside him to give some sense of his size.
I had just gotten out of the shower when I heard my roomate screaming at me from upstairs, "Matt! Get up here right now and bring your camera!" So I picked up my camera and frantically ran up the stairs (Towel falling from my waist) to encounter the monstrosity you see above. He had flown into the kitchen and flown back out agian before I could get more than 10 shots.
This fly is well over an inch in length. I couldn't find it on Bugfinder.com.
Hopefully Enmos or Danob can help me out with this one.
Thanks for looking!
