Description

I started decorating my shelves now that I fixed up all the measurements (thanks Moebius87,oooZENOooo and petes). I followed a tutorial suggested by odeone (Thanks for that!) for the books and they turned out better than I thought. :) Now to texture and put titles.. eventually... (when I learn that stuff) The pics are my hubby, me and our car (well.. a likeness of our car - A holden HQ Premier - best aussie car!) Gabbi

G'day Gabbi, This might seem an odd comment but I think your picture frames are too black, there is no specular highlight to reveal the bevels. Maybe add a small light, or alter the surface properties. Excellent progression and always a joy to watch.

This is definitely an enormous improvement. My only suggestion is that you've got to start "dirtying" things up a little bit.

Gabbi... real quick and dirty way to get dirty on your books: on your specularity (or diffuse) channel in the surface editor add the fractal noise procedural, then autosize, then divide the x,y,and z values by 10. it will alter how light plays on the surface.

ok, I'll try that TalleyJC! Thanks :)
