Description
Giuseppe Arcimboldo: Italian painter (Milano, 1527 - 1593). He was
court painter in Praga, for emperor Ferdinando I, Massimiliano II and
Rodolfo II. He created various caricatures and allegories, that can be viewed
at Vienna museum and at Johanneum of Gratz; clever artist, his imaginative
and bizarre inventions seem to precede some trend of modern surrealism.

Created in UF3 (no postwork)
483 layers was needed!!! It was an huge work, for me, but the time spent
for this finally paid off.
Dedicate to all formula writers and fractal community, that make this immage
possible.
Daniele
PS. I want to say thanks to my dear PIII 1000, that has endured this work, and
has crashed 'only' a couple of times, during this work.

Sorry to be so late, Daniele.... what else can I say my friend?!! I am as delighted, astounded, impressed, surprised as everyone else here..... you have created a most marvelous picture!! I look at all the tiny details that you have so lovingly spent so much time on.... the coloring and grain on the canteloupe...textures on the leaves... the wonderful coloring on the fruit on his cheek, the grasses, his clothing,... it's all perfect!!! You are a stickler for detail, and it really paid off... and you achieved a wonderful sharp clear render. It's amazing and I salute you for your effort!!!

i think i prefer Arcimboldo's picture because 1. that is the original and 2. he choose a better way to make such a picture. the fractals aren't for this kind of images. but, anyway, "excellent" for patience!
