Description
The village, really, had nothing apart from the ruined abbey with which to attract tourists. Even the abbey wasn't that much of a draw. Nothing had happened there, really, no heretics burned at the stake, no purported witches tortured until they confessed to crimes they never commited, and no priest practiced any kind of perversion there. Hell, there wasn't even anything to see in the vicinity. And so, the poor villages jumped at the chance to attract a more affluent crowd. They learned quickly, however, that granting the road construction contract to the mayor's brother was a bad idea.
