Description

Originally created with Poser and Adobe PS, I was unsatisfied with the results and considered that perhaps a pencil rendering would make it more appealing. Materials: 60lb-medium tooth paper, and a mechanical pencil

Although this is wonderfully done, I just had to go and look at the poser, and I have to tell you, the background shadows really make this image in the previous version. I can't believe that you actually did this with a mechanical pencil! That is incredible. I guess with the other image, the lighting and shadows, and the surroundings really add so much more to the mood. I think it would be cool in a downtown city setting...like in an alley or something. It would add alot of pathos...but it is incredible none the less. I don't mean to critisize. I am really impressed.

I had to look back, too, and I think each of these stands well on its own. The compositions in both are quite good. In this version, you've made some good improvements to the figures, especially as on his right hand, for instance. Good work, both versions.

blushes perhaps I wasn't clearly worded enough. It's drawn, the original I did was in poser. Thank you all for your lovely comments.
