Description

Wow i finally get round to posting again! Seems like an age... I got a little bored with not having my internet connection so i started this pic as an experiment to see how far i could push my knowledge in 3 particular programs. I wanted a modelling challenge, a texturing challenge and I wanted to see if i could get it all to come together in Vue. I modelled everything myself, all the textures are mine, Vue of course did the render, and I finished it off in photoshop. I believe i have pushed every part of my knowledge of 3DStudio, Vue, and Photoshop to create this pic, so i'd appreciate if you would spend some time to tell me what you think. Modelled in about 6 days Unwrapped and textured in 4 days Set up and rendered in Vue in one evening. Touched up in Photoshop one evening. I'm beat... Im going to relax in the gallery... The flower is Varian's excellent Saludas Kutter.

Wow!!! Talk about photo-realistic!!! Wow. An excellent render Steve. Textures are jaw droppingly good, and the lighting is stunning. Wow. Excellent, well done and my vote:)
