Description

Another fantasy image similar to the sci-fi image that I posted. All done in UF3... 250 layers. No post processing, just sharpen and signature. Thanks for all your comments and votes on 'Stardate.2423.2'. And thanks for having a look at this one. :)Maria

This is such a beautiful world! The falls remind me of Igua, down in the south of Brasil! You have made me happy with this picture!

Excellent as well as something rather Zen about this one. I think I shall have to astral project myself into "The Land That Time Forgot." -Brey

250 layers??? Is there a litle bit of crazyness in your eyes? :-)
A small proposal: The planet spheres are too perfect. You could add some turbulence to the outlines, so that they still look much like spheres but are less perfect. The planetary rings are ok as they are...
Besides that this image makes me speechless.

V Puuuure magic, Maria. I love the way you show that with skill and patience one can transform fractals into neo-realistic works of art. You rule, girl ;-))

Great fractalscape! This would be a wonderful book jacket for the book on which the old movie of the same title is based. Rik

Holy Smokes, Maria - this is awesome! So many incredible aspects to this one. LOVE the flowing spiral waterfall to the right and the sky. Cool, spacy composition, too. Between you and Daniele, you guys are really pushing the envelope with UF and raising the bar of its possibilities. Oooh - oh yeah - dig the neat cloud on the horizon under "Saturn". Looks like a dust cloud from a Hubble telescope picture. Maybe do one of those?
