Well, all that hard work paid off. You've created an excellent scene. Although I'm not so sure I'd feel too comfy riding that taxi. Those blades seem that they would be awfully close to my head once I stepped out. :)

Very nice job. I really like how vibrant the yellow is. Really strengthens the focal point of the image. The lighting and composition seem to be very good (lighting's the hardest part for me, too!). The one thing I could suggest to improve it would be to alter the background color palette. I know youre going for a gritty sci-fi look, but you have too much gray on gray. Try shifting the background to a brown gray, or even give the cab a yellow sheen or highlights. All that said, I still think its VERY cool and retro (blades instead of jets) and futuristic at the same time. Bravo!

How your computer doesn't crash under the weight you put on it I will never know. This is, of course, fantastic. I'm waiting for the animation showing the rotor blades spinning up and it decapitating the client before taking off. Great work and I leave the grey on grey, it just says MrD all over it without knowing it's your picture.

Well your hard work paid off. The lighting is terrific. Not sure what Mr. Houston is talking about. The background looks great. A shift in color would take away from the focal point IMO. Great model as well!

I assume that you enter and exit this taxi from the rear? That'd be spooky enough but anywhere else would be either deadly or inefficient (the blades would have to stop to let people in and out). Awesome modeling and rendering!!

Notice the small blades, with fairly minimum mass. It would not take much to slow them down, as they would be able to slow down at LEAST four times as fast as the singular propellar of a regular helicopter. Now, the pedestrians walking too close might be maimed or killed, but hey! Hehehe.

I wish you luck in getting a passenger. Actually you may need much more than luck. The second they see you approaching with that thing they'll be running away as fast as they can, probably with a look of horror in their faces! :)

Awesome image, the lighting is fantastic. I really like the cool, original vehicle design, as well as the texturing, but I think the lighting is incredible, and I think it was time well spent. I agree with Venishi, that's what I love and hate about great artists such as yourself.
