Description

This weed is called cudso, it was introduced from Japan years ago as a ground cover. At that time they did not know the trouble it could cause. It will take over everything, houses, power lines, even some Ms. good old boys if they stand still long enough. It will grow 15 ft. in 24hrs and is almost impossible to kill.

Fantastic image!!!!I know all about cudso because it is taking over everything in the in small county in Kentucky where my folks live. It's beautiful, but it's killing trees...smothering them to death...sucking the life out of them. Crazy!!! I am worried about the harm it's doing. Anyway, this is an excellent photo!!! Thanks for sharing!

sheilakalajdzic, your right it does take over everything. We have some houses here in Ms. that are completely covered and have people living in them. Guess it keeps them cooler but it must be a haven for all kinds of "critters"

Great stuff for the Sahara! Finally a way to cover the sands with a nice green flower! Excellent shot, pity it causes so much trouble!

Ah yes, another import gone wrong.... (politically insensitive comments omitted). Nuff said.
