BIOI first got into 3D back in 1996 with a free copy of Imagine. I continued to use Imagine for my modeling projects up until early 2003. Support for the product has now died leaving it several years behind the rest of the market. I have now started to learn Max and I constantly wonder why it took me so long to make the change.
Primarily I focus on modeling. Over time I will learn to texture and animate my objects but at present I am very happy just modeling. If you are interested in texturing any of my objects send me a mail and I will probably send them through to you.
I am also the founder and webmaster of Gallery of 3D.com. (http://www.galleryof3d.com). G3D is a massive 3D Gallery for artists of all levels. Currently there are over 750 artists listed and over 5000 pieces of individual artwork.

If you're going for realism (which I assume is what you meant by "making the gun look like it could work"), I'd advise either removing the pump tube or the clip. Extending that forward handgrip all the way down the barrel'd look pretty good, uh, I think. Other than that, quite cool. I'm surprised games even these days can take that much detailed geometry. Were it real, I'd want one.
