Madeleine, somebody once said that a beautiful sculpture is already "inside of a material" [marble in this case]. You skill was the magic to bring it out !!! You acomplished an excelent photo. I love it !!! Congrats !!!

A magnificent and stately sculpture. It reminds me of a blossom or plant about to open up to the world. It could even be a whale erupting out of the ocean. Our imagination is our guide, I believe. Thanks.
