Description

Another from my spiral series. Reminiscent of certain elements of art in Native American tradition. Made in Apophysis. Comments in other languages welcome.

Has the gentle renders of a primitive hand. Feathery, reminiscent of grain.

Great spiral, Pat. Not a typical Apo image, and I agree that it looks like it could be from the southwest.

I've only just discovered your gallery and so I have some catching up to do, which is absolutely wonderful in terms of future prospects! This image is a true gem (among other true gems.) I love the anamistic symbolism embedded in this, but then I've always found images that recall at least some aspect of humanity's anamistic traditions to be quite satisfying. I love the idea that this could be a bear-claw image, as well as something more feather-like, or the shell of an intriguing gastropod...or any number of other things. The colors are deliciously rich, and the details are fantastic. This is excellent work and I look forward to discovering more in your gallery.
