Description

As I was strolling outside during my lunch break at work , I decided to capture some of the interesting building around me. I may be posted here for may be another week, so, I guess it's about time I brought you something from here. Behind this elegant gate is Rastrapathi Bhavan (Translated it means.... Presidents House) The Building behind the gate is the official residence of the President of India and his office too. The Indian polity is a Parliamentary system where the President who is the head of the state is elected by the members of the Parliament consisting of an electrol collage of the Member of both houses of parliament and the State Assemblys. All Government work bears the stamp and authorisation of the President, however, he doesn't enjoy any administrative power. He acts on the advise of the Prime Minister. His status and position can be equated to that of the Queen of England. Tbis building you see stands on a higher part of the New Delhi in the Raisana Hills. On both sides of this building are North Block and South Block which houses some of the Major Ministrys of the Indian Govt. I will soon be giving you a revese view from this place..... a comple 360 degree turn and click..... so that you can get a better idea of it's location and surroundings. I plan this series without causing any boredom, hence it will come in bits and peices. Won't be posting one iamge a day sort of. One every other day. Thanks for your view and Comments. SNAKEY
