Description
Tristis Rursus (Sad Again)
This is another play off Tristitia (Sadness), if I remember my latin correctly. This is my first B&W so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Go ahead, criticize away!

Nice looking form and the b&w looks good. The only suggestion I would have would be to increase the contrast a little. Cool looking image!

Excellent spirals and I love the monochrome coloring! If you want more depth, copy the spiral layer and change its gradient so that the slope of the transition between black and white is real sharp. Select "multply" merge mode and lower the layer opacity/play with the gradient rotation till you get shading along the lines. Or: copy the layer and pick "iteration" coloring if the outside ucl has that option. Then find a colorful but smooth gradient and select either "soft light" or "color" as the merge mode and rotate the gradient around for some cool color effects.

I think it's beautiful...looks like a delicate lace doiley like what my Grandmother used to keep on the arms of the couch to prevent wear and tear...Extraordinary!!

It's great !! As for info, think Rick already handled that. It is a wonderful image, it just needs a little contrast or outline, that's about it. Wonderful spiral, btw!!!
