Description

Burned out on butterflies for today (and today only!) - I decided to try my hand at making hummingbirds. This way, I can force them to keep their wings still! (Pretend I have a very high shutter speed camera!) I didn't want motion blur. The main body portion was done in Imagine's sister program, Organica, and exported out as an iob. The rest was built inside Imagine.

PS-these birds are a work in progress... I'm not happy with their current state of obesity. The background is a bit much, too - but I was in a hurry. /-;

Your "state of obesity" note make me laugh !! If ever you continue the animal serie... my favorite is the tortoise :o)

Looks great. Nice detail My only suggestion would be to slightly desaturate the background a little, to give the look of distance /fog. ATM the birds blend in too much with the background and this would make them stand out more :)
