Description

I needed a ladybug really badly for a project, but couldn't find one I liked anywhere... So I stared at a blank screen for an hour and then the next hour I spent creating this little girl in Photoshop. :-) Now, the thing is this: I cannot draw. Honest! This is made with shapes only. I badly need suggestions, because I can't figure out how to make hands for her... And as much as I like her face, I'm not sure about the rest of her. Any comments and ideas are more than welcome! Thanks!

I think she looks good just the way she is. If you really have to have hands then I suggest you add them comming from under the wings and paint them in white outlines using the same design you used for the feet.

This is really quite creative and well done! Such wonderful "extras" like the bow in her hair, or the curls or the hair. You really did a good work!

You could use long thin rectangles (or just lines) to make the arms (similar in size to the legs) and make her hands look like mittens. An oval for the hand and a thinner one as a thumb. I like DawnsStar's idea of them being white and coming from under the wings. Great Job!
