Thanks for viewing ! Comments are welcome... I dedicate this one to you Georges (The artist formerly known as Unzy *wink*). I know you had to make a tough decision. Most people wouldnt make the one you did, but i think you did the right thing. Because you did what you wanted. And... you're a wonderful friend and person, thank you for that. We are all fortunate to have you in our midst !! :o) - Back to bugshots then... i guess you guys like 'em better then my sunsets lol :o) Well, doesnt matter, i like bugs better too. From time to time i will still post some stuff other then bug macros. The species should be know to you by now, since bombarded you with images of it lol Its Andrena flavipes once again :o) The front paws of the bee remind me of the tiny little arms of T-Rex lol So to me, in this shot, the bee looks a bit like a dinosaur hehe... :o) Hope you like :o) Thanks for all your wonderful comments on my last upload, "Peaceful (For Robert)" !! There was no better way of seating a friend in higher pedestal than this........ a very vivid macro with a wonderful POV and Excellent composition and intention. We all seem to become typcasts to our interest mate and sometimes the expectation of the viewer also swings accordingly and if it's something out of their normal expectation they kinda respond slow. I have also noticed this lack of interest by viewers on other subjects when I post it. Like an abstract by me, wouldn't get the kind of comments and viewing as does my flowers or bugs. I see two major reasons for it.... one.... the viewers who dedicatedly follow my posts have a interest in that particular area and are excited to see more and more and new and newer work in that category and are at a loss of words at times when they see something other than that..........and secondly...... those, who say, love abstract work more than other...... wouldn't or don't usually check my work. So from both angles...... you get a blank........... it's got nothing to do with your image not being good, I am sure. Like , when it comes to you........ everyone at my work place know you by now...... cause now that I have net for the last few days at work, I have been showing some of the excellent work being posted here and when it comes to the subject of macro and making the crowd go ...wow!! I open your gallary and show them and they go WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!! There is no doubt, you are a macro master and you have to live with that label, atleast in RR;)

Wow another awesome image J! It really doesn't matter who liked or commented on your sunset, I liked and it and you must have liked it too because you uploaded it and dedicated it! I deleted my gallery way back when and shocked some of the folks here on RR, when I did that. I was well known for my sunscapes and my orchids, when I came back, I experienced much the same thing when uploading something different for the first time, so don't let it discourage you. It is important, in my opinion to experiment with all of the genres in photography to be well rounded. You know your bugs truly rock, but I know with the talent you posess you can take an image of anything and make it rock! :)

ask yourself, "do you like photographing bugs?" or do you like photographing sunsets?" i think as long as you enjoy doing this, thats all that matters. whatever i shoot, im basically shooting what i enjoy and what im interested in, and im very fortunate that there are others accross the globe who like the things i photograph. as long as you enjoy it mate, you keep doing it! dont let less comments be discouraging! now that ive said that, i better check out this sunset, hey? this is xcellent photography, love the pov! V
