WOW man that is some great textures when i first saw the rendering come up I thought it was a real metal machine. great lighting! cant wait to see it finished with all the background.

Yow. Insanely cool, man, great geometry- only thing I can think of to improve it would be to introduce just a little more variation into the textures to bring out all those cool details even more. When they're all the same shade of yellow it's a bit too easy to overlook 'em. But then again, I've decided to be insanely jealous of your superior modeling skills and withhold that advice from you as a form of revenge- oops. Damn!

Excellent piece of work. I think it might need some eyes/sensor arrays to attribute some "personality" to it, what about some dark multi-lens spider like arrays?

The model so far is great, only thing id suggest to add would be some kind of ammo storage for the guns or hmm... coolant system if they are meant to be energy weapons
