Well dang, I was going to comment on this a while ago, and there wasn't a comment box...or else I've cracked up. Anyways, I like that you posted both images, it's pretty cool to be able to compare. I prefer the postworked, her skin has a soft glow, there's something nicer about her hair also, but I can't say for sure what it is. both are fantastic, well done :)

When darkness grips your heart it never fails to keep squeezing with every set back or thoughtless action...then the day comes when you finally fight back but not with love or happiness because it was the loss of these that allowed darkness inside to begine...you fight back with hate and anger, fight fire with fire until darkness from without cannot survive the darkness from within. When someone broke the wing off the statue I put on moms grave last week I lashed out for the first time and have found great relief in my anger...because its my darkness,my pain saying enough and behind them is a rage waiting to lash out that has been held back by all my good intent. But good intent and well meaning thought tend to get ignored or worse,it gets you left alone wondering what you did wrong to deserve it.So there is nothing left within to hold back the rage...nothing left but pain and the light I once thought was so much who I was,is now but a burning ember that not even I can see anymore but that might one day be restored if it doesn't go out altogether.

Chris - Simply the most stunning portrait I have seen from you! A masterpiece - the eyes are full of depth and character AND the postwork finish with the lightning resembling an aged varnish coat (to me lol)! And thanks for sharing with us your original render! AWESOME STUFF!!!

Very beautiful image.. The girls are gorgeous and a wonderful combination of the balance of nature.. you can dwell on one side and brood over the other, but if you don't find a common ground you'll either get burned or turn pale and withered LOL (( Ok was trying my hand at been deep.. I suck.. I know LOL HUGS))

She is absolutely stunning! I think the fact you used both images is fantastic since you not only show the beautiful Lorene without postwork, but have taken the opportunity to show her with it as well. Amazing portraits and artwork!
