Description
Built between 1238 and 1358, The Alhambra was the center of Moorish rule in Granada, in the Andalusian region of Spain. All that remains today are three parts made up of a series of rooms and gardens clustered around three principal courts with extensive use of fountains and water basins. It surfaces are astonishing ornate and varied with fine examples of stalactite work.
