I would like to place this image as #30 into my Family album The story: Lets say that the following little story could have been happened... My roommate and me started the preparation for Linda's birthday's party at the middle of the week. Linda was my roommate best and oldest friend... they get to know each other many many years ago... at the kindergarten. My roommate preparation consisted a feast. She decided to stop eating till the birthday party. She was just drinking a special cocktail consisted a lot of minerals and vitamins. I really didn't understand her decision... I had no idea why she was doing that. I always wondered why she went into modeling... she was beautiful and she had that incredible gorgeous body. For me she decided on a different kind of preparation. She knew, I would not agree to stop eating till the party -- so she arranged me a day in a well known spa. At the spa I got a wonderful treatment. I got facial, manicure, pedicure and a nice haircut. All that treatment didn't make me taller or thinner... but I definitely looked better after the spa than before it. The birthday party's day arrived. All the participants has been gathered at our apartment... and from there we went by foot to a fashionable private club. When we arrived to the club -- there was a long line of people waiting to get inside. We waited also, than we got inside. This was the first time that I have been in such kind of place. At the entrance level there were people dancing. And at the first floor there was a huge living room. At least for me it looked like as a huge living room. There were many little tables and very cozy sofas. We have been there well after midnight and I really enjoyed myself. Some days later, while my roommate and I were watching TV the phone rang. My roommate picked up the phone... and after talking into it for some minutes she extended to me. She told me that the owner of the club that we have been just some days ago would like to talk to me. After listening to the owner of the club and me asking him a lot of questions I faced a big dilemma. It turned out that the owner of the club has been sued because of 'discrimination'. Those who sued him stated that he allows attendance in his club just tall, thin and beautiful ladies. He told me that he needs my help. He wanted me to testify that I attended to his club... although I am short, fat and ugly. I told him that I will happily testify... I do not have any problem with the short and fat part... but I am not ugly. If he agrees that I can state that I am not ugly... I would do him that favor. He was thinking for some moments... and than said... OK... I can live with that. I forgot to mention that one of the versions of this image was my entry to RO's spring contest. There were a lot of beautiful entries... I really enjoyed that contest.

Wonderful image Koty and what a story! I have never been to clubs like that and can only imagine your surprise at the phone call too. I think our society is too body conscious and needs to pay more attention to humor and personality. Sure, it is nice to be pretty but there is more to life than good looks. And once the good looks fade, which they will, it is important to have a good character to fall back on. Brava!!

Thanks Nancy, for your nice comment! One more thing I forgot to mention -- Mika is my sister's daughter... and she is celebrating her 4 birthday :)... So I thought to give her as a present a lot of roses and a birthday party story :)... I hope she will like it :)..
