Description

Be nice you all, I tried to make my own waves. I did not know how to do them in Vue but I wanted to try. They are not as good as some I have sceen but they are not to bad. I did them with tube shapes in one water and made oblongs from the globe in another. If anyone knows a better way let me know. I only have Bryce besides Vue and they don't seem to like objects from each other.

Indeed, not bad, not bad. But why not using a terrain with a grayscale image to make the wave structure. There is a freeware program around that creates good grayscales for this. You can look here in the backroom for the link. Well, i am not sure wether it is there or not. If not, let me know and i will find it for you again. I think i have it somewhere on a windows machine at work.

Using the dunes setting for terrain can be fairly effective for waves. I think Guitta may have done a tutorial on this? I like the overall picture.
