Revisiting some work from way back (my first attempts at modelling used gmax for the original image); This version modelled 'n' rendered in Carrara II; Terragen theatre of operations. Here's the (modified) text of the original: Excerpt: Intrusion - ...The four Tempest II interceptors of Wespe Squadron swooped down into the lush valley, drowning out the murmur of the rainforest with a high-pitched whine. Whistling over the treetops, the four angular forms bobbed up and down in response to the undulating terrain, a testament either to the pilots' expertise, or good navigation programming. A moment later, the intrusion was past, and the forest resumed its natural conversation. The planes hurtled onward, closing on their destination at great speed. One thing was sure: someone, somewhere up ahead, was about to get a nasty surprise... Yeah, I know they're not quite kissin' the treetops :)
