I don't care for AmericanBoy's snooty sort of backhandedness, but he's right, that arm through the hair is just werid. Also, while I'm all for making tributes, I'm not sure this is the right gallery for it, as it dosn't make a political statement one way or another.

sorry not making a political statment! yea your right about the arm didnt notice that before. but this pic was for sgt biske who was killed in iraq in my unit last year, the original pencil drawing was a tattoo for him..so he never got to put it on...if you are looking for political statements try cnn or crossfire not renderosity!

The pose rocks! Love it! I agree with the hair but I don't think it warrants such a low ranking. Remember try ranking the art not the statement. I know that sometimes it is hard when you don't agree with being over there in the first place but need to remember that just like all Muslims are not in Al Qaeda neither were all soldiers in that prison.

I'm sorry he never got his tattoo. What a touching tribute to him and the others you've choosen to post. I think political statements are often in the eye of the beholder. You may make the statement, but if people "don't get it" without a long explanation or the artists editorializing, then is it really such a statement?
