Description

(UF 3.04 - no post-work) Thanks to all of you who stopped to view, comment on and rate/vote for my previous posting "Queen Opal's Brooch". I truly appreciate your feedback, encouragement and support! In this work, I am trying to capture something of the essence of clarity, integrity and simplicity inherent to the Bushido code of the Samurai, as contrasted to the darker nature of their application of it in combat. Please let me know what you think. Best regards! (0:| Rik

I think you have succeeded, Rik - the contrasting colors are so clean and the composition itself is clean and pure. Excellent work! Thank you.

This is an excellent image. The red is very intense, and the way it fades into the white makes it look like blood from a Samurai.

Superb contrast and it does have a flesh and blood feel to it. Much represents the commitment some Saumrai made for their beliefs. Excellent!

You've really captured the essence of "Samurai" IMO, with this fine and elegant design. The coloring is very impressive- just striking.

Wonderful coloring! The white is very effective in setting off the other colors. Marvelous tribute to commitment and honor.

It looks peacefull, but strong. The great spirals suggest that there is something deeper here than meets the eye. A great work, Rik!
