Description
Just An Update To The CoalMiner, Added Some Beams Of Light And A Rubber Piece For The Glass. I Think He Is Coming Along Nicely! What Do You Think? Thanx To All Who Commented On The Last Post, I Got Some Great Ideas! Oh Yeah, I Decided To Keep The Teeth (Yes They Are Teeth, My Modeling Is Poor), I Think It Gives Him Personality, But If I Get Enough Comments About Them I Will Remove, So Please Tell Me What You Think! This Time The Render Only Took 30 min, Yay! Used Spotlights Instead Of HDRI.

wow that is a big improvement on render time over the last one. I think you should keep the teeth it does give him a personality, mabey you should have one chipped or cracked. and if it is a miner then shouldnt the teeth be all dirty and dull? or does he just have a really good robot dentist lol. great job can't wait to see it progress.

I knew they were teeth from the first render. I'm gonna hold back on commenting on them until I see the full body. I agree with Vincent, though -- this is coming along nicely. I like the glowing tubes/lights inside his head. The glow is cool. Good work! I would suggest a second spotlight to give a little light from behind, though. It's very dark. But other than that... I'm looking forward to seeing more.

Great! Well i still think you should lose those teeth but maybe you are right, it gives him a presonality but its not a bad cold coal miner personality. Sorry for the crit, but i like those "Descent" coal miners and other bad floating robots. Excellent pic though.

The teeth might provide a bit of comic relief, so they could stay. But yes, I agree with Vincemt that one tooth could be chipped, showing that the robot have been hard working indeed. :)
