Description
With the advent of unionized Viking work-forces, the already arduous ocean journeys were even further lengthened by the stops required to fulfill the new break policy! One thing to note regarding these breaks was the invention of mixed drinks when some of the men found that their rations of liquor could be stretched to last(hopefully?)for these longer trips by mixing it with the soda products found at the new little sea-side vending areas that also began appearing about this time '-)!
