Thanks for viewing ! Comments are welcome... This is the Ten-spot Ladybird. Adalia decempunctata. This ladybird is of the lice-eating kind. They color out very slow and there a multiple varieties of this species. This one has hardly got any spots. It landed on my arm when i was taking shots at the 'Ysselmeer'. Cute little friend you have there! Great close up, I tried taking close ups of a ladybird, but I didnt get such a good close up, I'll keep trying lol. Excellent macro as always!!

Last year are I got a "regular" Ladybug on my arm, but I gess it was not really a friend of me: I was bitten! :-) Great shot!

Oh!! I've never seen such ladybird! Or maybe I did but I didn't think they were ladybird! A surely beautiful 'lil creature! And I love the hairy background! ;P LOL!
