got it out of The Library of Congress all picture there before 1923 is copyright free sorry do not have the history part of this image or why this man was hung. You have to remember things was done diff back then than today it a black and white and I just did the colors thanks for looking and comments and votes

This is a hard photo to look at for me, but I like what you did with the colors. The colors give it a less violent look...as if the man is just hanging his head down in sadness or shame. And that one guy behind him looks as if his heart is cut out. Great job, jocko!

You've turned it into an interesting design. The fomrer roof lines now add depth and kind of mirror the hanging post. Really ice work!

i agree this is a hard thing to view but i have mixed feelings where that type of punishment was chosen..mubles to herself , if we kept this , would our world b safer now?..i like how u did two versions..one the b/w tv days and then when we had color...miseed ur unique eye and artistic expression..Love ya Jock!...HLNGB2YNYLO...L;)))

I remember him well...Pinchon D. Pinata...He had the last laugh tho--he was on a styrofoam diet--and light as air--when he "would'nt kill" they cut him down and they went and had a few beers---nice touch with the colors and post work !!

You did well on the overall design,,,too bad we couldn't have done more for the man that is hanging ! History is an odd thing, a little less messy now, but not much different than then. Great work !
