Description

Romance VERY long ago! He was the strongest hunter. He had tracked and killed hundreds of mammoths, antelopes and buffaloes, often using only his bare hands. Nothing could escape him. Nothing could stop him. And now a lithe, young, inexperienced girl was hunting him.... This would have been my entry in Ferguson's Romance Long Ago contest. Alas, I've been too busy and could not finish it in time. Pure Firefly render, except for the lettering. Hope you like it, thanks for viewing, and comments are greatly appreciated. P.S: Comments and ratings had to be disabled in the contest, but since I'm too late to enter anyway... Credits: Ingenue Vicki by Jim Burton Miss April texture and morph Ponytail by 3Dream Loincloth by me Pose by me LB Battlescars from DAZ, with some bumps added Kozaburo Long Hair Appendix Freak Primitive from DAZ Pose by me RDNA Microcosm for the background RDNA Skydome for the sky And the lights are by me.

Hmm. I just looked up pixeldump's contributions to Renderosity, and it's about as impressive as his comment. I'd like to see what he could do using one single software package - his choice which one. Again, the most derogatory comments are left by people who do not contribute to 'rosity (no galleries, no articles, no freestuff, no store, nothing).

Well give pixeldump some credit...he didn't mispell a word that I could tell:P~As for muscle development, there have always been men who are born bigger and who inherently have more muscle definition than the rest of us.It is only a recent development that steroids and such have developed to help the rest of us have a chance of looking like this, but to say that men have never been built muscular like this is to say that women have never had large breasts til the invention of silicone implants (and you know, some idiots actually believe that too lol).Is this a romantic image...hmm,different but in its own way romantic and certainly not worthy of the insults thrown at it by pixeldump.

Insults and objective criticism are two different things, folks. I have stated my opinion and I am not re-stating it. As for my lack of contribution - well, it is my choice whether I want to share my works, to show off or I don't. I personally use Photoshop and CorelDraw, and I do that for many years, creating complex ads and greeting cards. And I am definitely not going to prove myself to someone who cannot take a few lines of objective criticism without being insulted. Also, I've just looked at other svdl's pictures, and - nothing personal - found them to be consistent with the white trash fantasy style. However, I live in a free society, so I would never say that such art should be forbidden. Why? You are free to do what you like the way you like it, and I AM FREE TO HAVE MY OWN OPINION AND SHARE IT WHENEVER I FIND IT APPROPRIATE.

Insults and objective criticism are two different things, I agree. The comments pixeldump had about hair being too clean is objective criticism, and that is useful. Calling something trash is an insult and serves no purpose at all.
