Description
Taken yesterday at Laurel Caverns in South-Western Pennsylvania. Most of the images that I took were a bit too dark & a little blurry (my apologies)! The tour lasted an hour, but they have another tour that lasts a few hours, & is a bit more strenuous (climbing,rapelling,etc.) At the end of the tour, they turn all the lights off & believe me, it is totally pitch black...you don't dare move!!! This reminded me of playing adventure games!

oh yeah...a real adventure for sure! My hubby and I live only about 1 1/2 hours away from Mammoth Cave & we just love it there! It's like a whole other world! We're too chicken to go on those wild tours where you gotta crawl on your belly through mud and whatnot, using only the light you have strapped to your head. Anyway, believe me, i know how hard it is to take photos down in the caves, but this turned out great! I'll have to hunt thru mine and see if i have any that are good. Great shot!

A nice capture and I know about when the lights go out you don't move cause we went to Bristol caverns and they turned the lights off and I totally wanted them back on especially when they spoke of people going blind due to all the darkness. :)))
